Glory Road Screencaps

Today, I added the screencaps of Mehcad's performance in the Disney movie Glory Road. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend it to you, it's a beautiful empowering movie about basketball.

Also, this is my last update for a little while because I will not be home in the coming five days. I will try to update on June 24, because I will leave again for three days on the 25th. Hopefully Mehcad will cooperate and won't go out too much ;)!

Dining out at Po with Serinda Swan

On June 15, Mehcad and his Lockjaw co-star, Serinda Swan, went out to the restaurant Po in New York City. As you can see from the pictures, the two of them are holding hands. Could this mean they're an item? We'll see, but if they are, let's be happy for them!

And unfortunately, Mehcad wasn't in the first episode of the third season of True Blood! We can hope they are going to air the scenes that were shot but never shown in the coming episodes though! I'll definitely keep an eye on it!

True Blood tonight!

Tune in to True Blood tonight on HBO at 9 PM! Mehcad said himself that he would be at least in the first episode of this new season... and if he's right, we will have screencaps up tomorrow!

Also, you can see, Mehcad-Brooks.net has been under a few changes! I hope you like the sidebar better! There are still a few things that I'd like to fix, but that can wait a little...

Events: 2006

I started uploading all the events Mehcad attended in 2006 and boy are there a lot! This is thus the first update (and if my calculations are right, there will be 3 others following soon) for these pictures!

In other news, if we are to believe Noah Hawley's tweets, he has been working like crazy on his new tv show My Generation. We have learned that the cast has been reunited once again for a photoshoot and that shooting will start in 4 weeks! Are you excited as I am?

Splice Premiere interview

Thanks to About.com, we have now a new interview of Mehcad on the red carpet of the Splice Premiere. This interview is VERY interesting because we learn that we might not have seen the last bit of Eggs, his late character in True Blood. Mehcad said that there were some shots we were never show before and that they might use it as flashbacks in the first episode of the third season at least! For those who are not fans of True Blood, that episode will be aired on June 13 on HBO.

We also learn huge news! Mehcad is going to make his directorial debut with a movie called The Wolf (I remember he once said in an interview that he was writing a script... could this be it?). Mehcad claims that the story will revolve around an Iraki war veteran coming home with post-traumatic stress disorder. Sean Faris is starring in it, but they haven't found the female lead yet. They will most likely shoot the movie in Lousiana, as soon as he gets some time.

Mehcad responds to nailpolish drama

So ever since Mehcad went out twice in a row wearing black nailpolish, there have been these rumors about him being gay on a lot of different blogs. Yesterday, blogger Carlton Jordan spotted Mehcad right outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles where he was waiting for a friend to go to the Jill Scott/Maxwell gig. Here is Mehcad's reponse:
